Police beat June 18
Harassment citations: Amanda Lynn Cramer, 30, and Margaret Wyland, 56, both of 773 S. Branch Muddy Creek Road, Cumberland, were cited by township police for harassment following a fight inside their residence May 20.
Car damaged: Joshua Yount of Punxsutawney told state police his vehicle was damaged Saturday afternoon when a person threw another person into the car door during a fight in the parking lot of the High Point motorcycle event in Dunkard Township.
Televisions stolen: Three televisions and two video gaming systems were stolen during a house burglary in the 200 block of Moffit Road in Dunkard Township between May 29 and June 1, state police said.
Hit-and-run crash: A driver sideswiped another car on Route 19 at Sugar Run Road in Franklin Township about 6 a.m. Tuesday and left the area without stopping, state police said. The other driver, Rachel McCormick, 36, of Bobtown, was not injured in the crash, police said.
House burglary: State police said $5,000 in change was stolen June 11 during a burglary at a residence in the 100 block of Millsboro Road in Jefferson Township.
Contraband charge: Andrew M. Novak, 28, of Bobtown, was charged Monday with possession of contraband and a controlled substance after Greene County sheriff’s deputies said they found him in possession of two Subutex pills while in custody during a hearing inside Greene County Courthouse Feb. 5.
Debit card theft: Toni A. Kennedy, 49, of Clarksville, was charged with nine counts each of access device fraud, theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, conspiracy to commit theft and conspiracy of receiving stolen property after Waynesburg police said she and another woman used a man’s debit card on multiple occasions in various Greene County locations. Police said Kennedy and Stacy Demaske, 25, of Franklin Township, stole $1,997 while using the card from Feb. 26 through March 13. Police filed the charge June 11 through District Judge Louis Dayich’s office. Demaske was charged April 1.
