Summer Open House in Waynesburg
Dave Lesako of New Freeport hangs artwork in Artbeat Gallery earlier this week that features paintings he made during this frigid winter. A reception will be held inside Artbeat at 52 E. High St. tonight during Waynesburg’s Summer Open House from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Stores will be open with sidewalk specials, one-time only deals and a “Rock the Chalk” sidewalk art competition in which people will be able to watch local artists at work and vote for their favorite artwork. Entertainment includes local musicians, roaming bagpipers and Greene County Greaser Crazy Dougie Wilson live at the courthouse. Vendors will serving food, cold drinks and ice cream. The Summer Open House is organized by Waynesburg Prosperous and Beautiful.
