Trial ordered for man in 2003 slaying of woman

1 min read

BEAVER (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man has been ordered to stand trial in the death of a woman whose body was found in an abandoned building on an old steel property more than a decade ago.

Forty-three-year-old Jarrod Bullie is charged in Beaver County in the death of 35-year-old Robin Sue Miller, whose body was found in November 2003 on the former Moltrup Steel property. Authorities said she had been hit in the head with a rock.

The Beaver County Times reports that prosecutors cited DNA evidence linking Bullie to the victim, although he repeatedly denied knowing her.

Defense attorney Blaine Jones argued that other DNA was found on the body, and while his client may have had sex with the victim, there is no evidence that he killed her.
