Vandalism: Paul Miller of Nutter Road reported to state police a section of his barbed-wire fence was cut between June 15 and 17.

Machinery stolen: MEI McCutcheon Enterprises Inc., 101 West Pike Street, Houston, said a Magnum 6-inch track pump valued at $17,850 and an Ingersoll Rand air compressor valued at $12,511 were stolen Wednesday from a site on Curry Hill Road, behind the old PennDOT storage shed. The incident remains under investigation.

Complaint: Police responded to a complaint of juveniles shooting BB guns on Moon Road at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police checked the area and were unable to locate them.

Crash: One person suffered a minor injury in a two-vehicle crash near Township Lane and Linden Road shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday. Lorna Turon of Finleyville told police she was turning left onto Township Lane and did not see the other vehicle driven by David Norcutt of Canonsburg. Neither was injured. Meade McKee of McDonald, who was a passenger in Norcutt’s vehicle, was taken by ambulance to the hospital to be treated for cuts and face swelling.

Assault charge: Brandon Alan Hickman, 27, of Norman Park, Ga., was charged by North Strabane police with simple assault and harassment for allegedly punching and choking his girlfriend, then throwing her down the steps at their residence at 1055 Bayberry Drive at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday. The woman refused treatment for her injuries but wanted to leave the residence for her safety, police said. Hickman was arraigned by District Judge David Mark and taken to Washington County jail on $2,500 bond.

Toilet vandalized: Someone knocked over the toilet Wednesday at the Montour Trail parking lot on Linnwood Avenue in McMurray, police said. This is the second time the toilet has been knocked over in recent weeks.

Mailbox dented: A resident of Fox Run Drive in Venetia told police Wednesday her mailbox was dented and stuffed full of mulch. Police said the mailbox was vandalized the same way on several other occasions.

Retail thefts: Police responded to three calls of retail thefts Wednesday at Walmart and Giant Eagle. Two people will be cited.

Drug charges: Shawn David Bedillion, 40, of 346 Locust Ave., Washington, faces drug charges for allegedly selling crack cocaine to an informant in the Walgreens parking lot on Jefferson Avenue in November 2012. He was charged by state police and arraigned by District Judge Robert Redlinger Wednesday.
