Stolen credit cards turned over
CARMICHAELS – An East Millsboro man was charged with receiving stolen property after police found him in possession of stolen credit cards.
Ruben Kinder, 23, of 338 Alicia Road, was taken to Southwest Regional Medical Center for an unknown illness Feb. 5. He was transported from 183 Neff Road, Carmichaels, where he had been living.
Alex Robinson, of 183 Neff Road, later brought Kinder’s belongings to the Cumberland Township police and told police he wished to have no further contact with Kinder, the criminal complaint said.
Among Kinder’s belongings were credit cards in the name of Samantha Mignerey of 848 Beech Grove Road, Honesdale. Mignerey reported the items stolen. State police in Honesdale said Mignerey told them Kinder was responsible for stealing her credit cards and other items.
Mignerey said she met Kinder on the Internet and later agreed to meet him. At this meeting, Kinder allegedly stole Mignerey’s belongings, police said.
