WG seniors named students of month

ROGERSVILLE – West Greene Area Lions Club named three West Greene High School seniors as outstanding students of the month, William Van Norman, Beau Jackson, and Bray Jackson.

Van Norman, son of David and Darlene Van Norman, is a member of National Honor Society, engineering club, and recipient of the Challenge Program’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and Academic Improvement awards.

Van Norman is a four-year letterman and a captain of the varsity football team. He is also a three-year letterman and captain of the varsity wrestling team.

Van Norman plans to attend Waynesburg University and major in athletic training.

Beau Jackson, son of Brian and Crystal Jackson, is vice-president of the National Honor Society, member of Young Life, a four-time recipient of academic letters, three-time citizenship award recipient, and three-time scholar athlete. He is a captain of the varsity football and basketball teams and a member of the track team. Beau is a four-time letterman in all three sports.

He plans to attend Waynesburg University.

Bray Jackson, son of Brian and Crystal Jackson, is treasurer of the National Honor Society, Quarterback for Life, and a four-time recipient of academic letters. He is a captain of the varsity football and basketball teams and a member of the track team. Bray is also actively involved in the West Greene Little League Football program.

He plans to attend Waynesburg University and major in athletic training.
