The following people appeared recently for sentencing in Washington County Court.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:
Raymond Haney, 40, 217 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi; possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged April 25; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Michael Smith, 49, 362 E. Maiden St., Washington; burglary, theft and defiant trespass; charged Sept. 12; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail and 6 to 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program, 3 to 12 months of probation and no contact with victim.
William H. Cose, 68, 339 Locust Ave., Washington; first offense of driving under the influence; charged Sept. 12; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail, $500 fine and 12-month license suspension.
Paul A. Rusnak Jr., 32, 251 Thompson Ave., Donora; disorderly conduct; charged Dec. 4; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Jennifer M. Castor, 27, 1106 Lincoln Ave., Charleroi; first offense of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and operating vehicle without valid inspection; charged Aug. 9; sentence – 16 days to 6 months in jail with credit for time served, 12 months of probation, $1,025 fine and 1-year license suspension.
James T. Smith Jr., 54, 924 McKean Ave., Charleroi; first offense of DUI and driving while blood-alcohol content 0.02 percent or greater while license suspended; charged Sept. 27; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment program, 100 days on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine and 1-year license suspension.
Lashawn M. Bryant, 22, 2986 Oak St., Washington; first offense of driving under the influence; charged Sept. 7; sentence – 10 days to 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $500 fine and 1-year license suspension.
Mark Clement, 44, 5257 Meadowcrest Road, Pittsburgh; second offense of driving under the influence; charged Sept. 17; sentence – 30 days to 6 months in jail, $500 fine and 1-year license suspension.

John M. Mikolay Jr., 30, Eastlake, Ohio; second offense of DUI; charged March 22, 2014; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 60 days on electronic home monitoring, $750 fine, 12-month license suspension and restitution.
Michael B. Barrett, 28, 164 Castle Road, Washington; first offense of DUI; charged Sept. 5; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail with credit for time served, $1,000 fine and 12-month license suspension.

Pitt St., Canonsburg; second offense of DUI and driving with a suspended license; charged Aug. 9; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring and first 3 months on SCRAM device, $1,700 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month Interlock ignition device.

Sandra L. Roux, 53, 480 Shirls Ave., Washington; second offense of DUI; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month Interlock ignition device.
Thomas E. Karol, 59, 621 First St., Donora; third offense of DUI and driving while BAC 0.02 percent or greater while license suspended; charged Sept. 1; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment program, 100 days on electronic home monitoring, $1,300 fine and driver’s license suspension as imposed by the state Department of Transportation.
Michael G. McLaughlin, 52, 116 Trotwood Drive, Canonsburg; second offense of DUI; charged Sept. 6; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 60 days on electronic home monitoring and $1,500 fine.
Lori A. Phillips, 54, 30 Belair Drive, Washington; second offense of DUI; charged June 29; sentence – 18 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring and first 3 months of SCRAM device, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month Interlock ignition device.
Brad A. Tournay, 34, 400 Concord Circle, Imperial; second offense of DUI and operating a vehicle without insurance; charged May 6; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $1,800 fine, 18-month license suspension, 12-month Interlock ignition device and restitution.
Larry L. Ward, 60, 545 Bower Ave., Washington; first offense of DUI; charged June 21; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 10 days on electronic home monitoring, $1,000 fine and 12-month license suspension.
Evan E. Delestienne, 35, 827 Bower Hill Road, PIttsburgh; second offense of DUI; charged June 17; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program with first 3 months on SCRAM device and first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension and 12-month Interlock ignition device.
Jeff W. Irwin, 29, 3 Liberty St., Bentleyville; retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Dec. 29; sentence – 66 days in jail with credit for time served, 6 months of probation and banned from Walmart.
George A. Girdish, 58, 206 Valley St., Monongahela; simple assault and resisting arrest; charged Aug. 24; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail with credit for time served and 24 months of probation.
Zachary W. Eidens, 23, 1445 Weirich Ave., Washington; theft, conspiracy and retail theft; charged Aug. 27; sentence – 2 to 23 months in jail with credit for time served, restitution, no contact with victim and banned from Walmart.
Edward Karol, 27, 621 First St., Donora; disorderly conduct; charged Aug. 14; sentence – $50 fine.
Shyann M. Sanpietro, 24, 930 Fourth St., North Charleroi; simple assault and endangering the welfare of children; charged July 3; sentence – 11 ½ to 23 months in jail.
Erik Semko, 20, 349 Market St., Donora; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged July 17; sentence – 12 months of Probation Without Verdict.
