Former child care worker facing sexual misconduct charges
ZANESVILLE, Ohio (AP) — A former Ohio child care worker has been indicted on multiple sexual misconduct charges following allegations involving a 15-year-old girl under his care.
Rodney Curtis of Zanesville faces 63 counts of illegal use of a minor involved in nudity-related material and 11 counts of sexual battery.
The 34-year-old Curtis pleaded not guilty to all 74 charges Wednesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.
Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox tells the paper Curtis is accused of either photographing the minor or creating, directing, producing, or transferring the material.
The victim was a resident of Avondale Youth Center, a facility for abused or neglected children, where Curtis worked for six years.
