Goat stolen: Jean Watson of Chestnut Ridge Road told state police Tuesday her Boer goat was stolen. The goat is white with a black head and horns. The goat was secured on the property and had a milk sack on her because she had just finished nursing. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.

Charged in crash: Jeffrey Alan Harvey, 52, of 277 Woodburn Road, Claysville, was arrested Thursday night by state police after rolling his vehicle on its side on South Sunset Beach Road near Route 40 in Buffalo Township. State police said while Harvey was at the barracks, he started to argue with his wife in the lobby and slammed the front glass door while leaving the building. Police said Harvey’s blood-alcohol content was nearly 2 ½ times the 0.08 percent limit presumed for intoxication. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, disorderly conduct, failure to drive at a safe speed and reckless driving. He was placed in Washington County jail on $1,000 bond.

Assault arrest: Joshua J. Moss, 26, of Meadow Street, Westland, was charged by Canonsburg police with criminal trespass, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief for allegedly assaulting Jessica Anesetti Thursday at her Valley View Terrace home and breaking her cellphone. He was arraigned Friday before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $1,000 bond.

Rigs, car crash: Francis L. Gordon Jr., 58, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, will be charged by state police with careless passing after he allegedly caused a crash about 8 a.m. Thursday on Interstate 70 eastbound between the Chestnut Street and Jessop Place exits in Canton Township. State police said two tractor-trailers, driven by Timothy Bunner, 35, of Weirton, W.Va., and Dean J. Adams, 34, of Havana, Ill., were driving side by side, and Gordon was in the right lane behind Bunner’s rig when he tried passing on the shoulder. Police said he hit a concrete barrier and struck Bunner’s rig, forcing it into Adams’ tractor-trailer. Adams’ rig had to be towed. No injuries were reported.

Club cited: Operators of the American Rusin Political & Beneficial Club of Donora, 502 McKean Ave. rear, were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly allowing gambling Feb. 3.

Father charged: Thomas A. Mansmann, 44, of 2463 Brookledge Road, Bridgeville, was charged Thursday by Peters Township police with simple assault after he allegedly pushed his son and dragged him by his leg after the son had run from Mansmann’s vehicle in the parking lot at 4127 Washington Road. Police said Mansmann was gone when police arrived, but he later turned himself in at the police station. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on his own recognizance.

Restaurant cited: The operators of Bean Curd restaurant, 4147 Washington Road, Waterdam Centre, Peters Township, were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly selling alcohol to a minor Jan. 29.

Charged in thefts: Charles L. Kennedy, 54, whose last known address was Washington Street, Jefferson, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Jay Weller on three sets of charges filed against him by South Strabane Township police. He is charged with retail theft and conspiracy for allegedly stealing items valued at $1,000 from Walmart, Trinity Point, Oct. 10. He is charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $358 in items from the store Dec. 14. Kennedy is charged with theft by deception, conspiracy and receiving stolen property for allegedly returning four buckets of paint reportedly stolen from Lowe’s and getting a $657 gift card in return Nov. 4. Kennedy was placed in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond.

Restaurant cited: The operators of Ichiban Steakhouse, 16 Old Mill Boulevard, South Strabane, were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly selling alcohol to a minor Jan. 29.

Account accessed: Yan Vuska of Washington told Washington police Thursday his bank account had been accessed and money removed from the account.

Drug charges: Casey O’Hare, 31, of 221 S. College St., Washington, will be charged with possession of heroin and paraphernalia after she allegedly was found with the items during an incident Thursday at Shop ‘n Save, 125 W. Beau St., Washington police said.

Items stolen: Dan Poland of 133 W. Walnut St. told Washington police Thursday items he was selling on eBay and had left on his porch for the mailman were stolen before they were picked up.

Restaurant cited: The operators of Union Grill, 13 ½ E. Wheeling St., Washington, were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly selling alcohol to a minor Feb. 3.
