Warrant arrest: David Worobec Jr., 55, whose last known address was Bangor, Northampton County, was taken into custody on a bench warrant from Northampton County Sunday at a home at 539 Blaine Ave., Canonsburg police said. Police were called to the home and discovered Worobec had an outstanding warrant.

DUI charge: Sean M. Kenavey, 44, of 301 Hutchinson Ave., Canonsburg, was charged Friday by state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a crash and a stop sign violation stemming from a traffic stop March 20 at West College Street and Hutchinson. Police said he had a piece of another vehicle he apparently hit at an unknown location hanging from his vehicle. He refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test, police said. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Two charged: Marci L. Dever, 54, of 849 Henderson Ave., Canton, and Bridget R. Dever, 23, of 305 Moon Road, Washington, were charged Friday by state police with criminal trespass, harassment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct stemming from a March 24 incident at another mobile home at 849 Henderson. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Unit damaged: Terrence Yenke of 300 Noblestown Road, Midway, told McDonald police a vehicle struck a stop sign near his home and the driver may have tampered with the air-conditioning unit at his house.

Drug arrest: Matthew J. Waugaman, 41, of Belle Vernon, was arrested Saturday by Monongahela police on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after officers received a tip a man was selling drugs while in a pickup truck in a parking lot on West Main Street. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

DUI, paraphernalia charges: Payne Roberts, 21, of 503 Orchard View Drive, Canonsburg, was charged Friday by North Strabane police with driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and speeding stemming from a Feb. 12 traffic stop on Route 19 near McClelland Road. Police said they clocked him going 80 mph, almost double the speed limit in that area, and also found him with paraphernalia. Police said his blood-alcohol content was more than 2 1/2 times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed. There also was marijuana in his system, police said. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft, trespass arrest: Jacob Alan Greathouse, 25, of 316 Millers St., McDonald, was arrested Sunday afternoon by South Strabane police on charges of retail theft, theft and criminal trespass after he allegedly stole two pairs of fire-retardant pants from Walmart, Trinity Point, and then returned them for a gift card. He was banned from the store three days earlier after another alleged theft. Greathouse was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Burglary arrest: Brian Eugene Campbell Jr., 21, of Washington, was arrested Saturday on a warrant obtained by Washington police stemming from a burglary June 10, 2013, at the Washington Park pool. Campbell is charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief and conspiracy for allegedly stealing food from the concession stand. Police took him into custody when they were called to the home of Sara Harris, 124 Maple Terrace, after Campbell allegedly pushed and grabbed her. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. He also will be charged with harassment for Saturday’s incident.

Assault arrest: Henry Tommy Lacks VI, 35, of 535 Fayette St., was arrested Sunday afternoon by Washington police on a charge of simple assault after he allegedly pushed, choked and shoved his wife, Teah Lacks, causing her to hit her head on the wall during a confrontation in their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released after being told to have no contact with his wife.

Doghouse stolen: Frank O’Bryan of 40 Hayes Ave. told Washington police Sunday a plastic doghouse was stolen from his front yard.

Paraphernalia charge: Amy Faris, 53, of 150 Hart Ave., Washington, faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after she allegedly was found with several items during an adult probation compliance check Friday. She was placed in Washington County jail on a parole detainer.

Bicycle stolen: Tara Salisbury of 1064 Summerlea Ave. told Washington police Friday an orange Mongoose bicycle was stolen from outside her home.

Harassment charge: James Spell, 50, of 397 W. Chestnut St., will be charged by Washington police with harassment for allegedly punching Taunya Harris in the mouth during a confrontation at their home Saturday.

Card used: Zachary Cromie of Washington told Washington police Saturday a credit card he may have lost at an East Wylie Avenue gasoline station was used to make almost $600 in purchases.

Drug, paraphernalia charges: Benjamin Volle, 24, of 796 Addison St., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia after he allegedly was found with suspected Suboxone, unknown pills and paraphernalia during a traffic stop Sunday at Baird and Addison streets.

Window broken: David Sandler of Canonsburg told Washington police a rock was thrown through the window of his vehicle while it was parked in a lot at Ridge and Murtland avenues Sunday.

Faces assault charge: Charles Ceasar, 41, of 87 1/2 Shannon Ave., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with simple assault after he allegedly kicked a 6-year-old boy Sunday at a house at 143 Church St. The boy fell backward, hitting his head, and was taken to Washington Hospital by his mother.

Woman assaulted: Jessica Ribel, 35, of Canonsburg, told police she was assaulted by several people outside a bar in the 100 block of Henderson Avenue early Monday. Police said she had a bloody mouth.
