Canton man charged with corruption of 12-year-old
A Canton Township man was arraigned Friday on charges he inappropriately touched a 12-year-old girl last year.
Randal J. Higgins Jr., 54, of 1873 Arlington Ave., appeared Friday morning before District Judge David Mark on charges of corruption of minors, criminal attempt and indecent assault filed by state police.
Higgins is accused of inappropriately touching the girl while she was at his home for dinner Nov. 27.
After his arraignment, Higgins was released on a $25,000 unsecured bond. As a condition of his bond, he is not to have contact with the alleged victim.
