Salvation Army plans golf outing
The Greene County Salvation Army will host its fifth annual golf outing Saturday, May 30, at the Greene County Country Club at 1044 Lippencott Road in Waynesburg.
Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The event format is a four-person scramble with an entry fee of $280 per team. Registration is still open and sponsorship opportunities are still available.
Prizes will be awarded to first- and second-place tournament winners.
The event also will include skill prizes, a silent auction, a 50-50 drawing, Chinese auction and hole-in-one prizes.

The Greene County Salvation Army offers a variety of services from its warehouse at 131 W. First St. in Waynesburg.
Free clothing, coupon exchanges, free camps for children, disaster services and emergency utility and rent assistance are among the services offered.
