Local students featured in live NASA broadcast
Students from Washington and Greene counties are at NASA headquarters in Washington, D.C., to present research they conducted during the school year.
The presentation can be viewed today via livestream from 10 a.m. to noon below.
NASA administrator and Astronaut Charlie Bolden will appear on the broadcast through a taped message. NASA’s Orion Program Executive Garth Henning and Advanced Exploration Systems Division Director and NASA Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate Jason Crusan will participate in the live broadcast.
The broadcast is part of the Beating the Odds Foundation’s Quarterbacks of Life Student Success and Leadership Program.
Students from Fayette and Blair counties are also participating.
