Man arrested after making threats at bar
A Pittsburgh man was arrested early Tuesday when he reportedly made threats at a bar on Route 88 in Finleyville after he had been removed three times.
Donald C. Gordon, 30, was taken into custody after Monongahela police were called about 1:15 a.m. to Roy’s by the Tracks, 3710 Route 88. Officer Ryan Lenzi was pulling into a lot across from the bar when the call came in and he saw a man matching the description of the suspect walking down Anne Street. As Lenzi approached, a transmission from the 911 center identified the culprit as Gordon. Gordon, who heard the transmission, said “Yep, that’s me.”
After talking with Gordon, Lenzi decided to give him a ride to his sister’s home. Police gave Gordon several chances to direct them to the home, but Lenzi said he did not know the way and then swore at the officer. He was then placed in custody, and became irate, kicking and screaming.
The bartender told police that Gordon was first asked to leave after calling her names Monday night. He then returned about 10:15 p.m. and was again told to leave.
He pointed his fingers like a gun and told her she was in the line of fire.
He was surrounded by several patrons who also told him to leave.
Gordon returned a third time about 1:15 a.m. When the owner asked him to leave, Gordon reportedly made another threatening remark. At the station, he allegedly threatened to shoot Lenzi and shook the cell doors for about two hours while continuing to make threats.
Gordon was arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of making terroristic threats, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
He was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing is set for May 28 before District Judge Mark Wilson.
