Xi Lambda Sorority will meet at 6:30 p.m. today in the Jefferson Community Center. Hostesses will be Mary Jurcevich and Linda Ankney Moore.

Carmichaels Area High School will present an student art exhibition from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Greene Academy on North Market Street in Carmichaels. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. The art students’ work, created throughout this school year, include ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, printmaking and mixed media, some of which are award-winning pieces from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

The John Corbly Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at noon Saturday at Hot Rod’s Restaurant, 46 S. Morris St., Waynesburg.
