A creamed chicken and biscuit dinner will be held Sunday, starting at 11:30 a.m., at the Blacksville Senior Center. The menu will also include mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, homemade desserts and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The Mapletown United Methodist Church is holding a chicken roast from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday to pay for replacement doors for the wheelchair lift. The dinner will follow the Gracemen concert at 11 a.m. Dinners are $12 and include a half chicken, two sides, a roll, dessert,and a drink. Takeout is available and can be ordered by calling 724-943-3219. The church is located at 926 Mapletown Road in Mapletown.
