A Washington woman was charged by Washington police with disorderly conduct stemming from a large fight Monday afternoon at Washington Park pool.

Police received numerous calls about the fight about 3:40 p.m. When they arrived, Ashley Lynn Fields, 26, of 486 Ewing St., who was standing next to the fence outside the pool was identified by a lifeguard as one of the people who started the fight.

When police talked with her, she reportedly started yelling at them. She was placed in a cruiser with the air conditioning turned on, but she demanded to have a window rolled down.

As police were transporting her to the station with the window down, Fields reportedly claimed she was having a seizure. Police stopped and called for an ambulance. When the ambulance to take her to Washington Hospital, police said Fields recanted her story about the seizure.

Police took her to the station, where she was again checked by ambulance personnel but she refused treatment. She was charged with disorderly conduct and released.
