A wine tasting will be held today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thistlewaite Vineyards located at 151 Thistlewaite Lane, Jefferson, to benefit the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Team “Mae” We Find a Cure. Tickets are $25 at the door. The event includes wine tastings, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment.
A water quality forum will be held by the Izaak Walton League of Greene County from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in Clarksville fire hall. The town hall meeting will cover a four-year study on water quality on Ten Mile Creek, Smith Creek and Whiteley Creek.
Tickets can now be purchased for Greene County Day at Kennywood Park on July 2. Tickets are $28 for a “Ride All Day” pass and are available at the Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce Office located at 143 E.
