Treasa McElroy, center, a Central Greene High School student enrolled in the cosmetology program, was awarded the Nina Doman Scholarship at the GCCTC’s recognition ceremony May 20. The scholarship was established by Nina Doman’s parents, Bob and Patty Doman, pictured with McElroy, to assist cosmetology students establishing a career in the cosmetology industry.

Michael Depaoli, right, a Central Greene High School student enrolled in the computer networking technology program, was awarded the Nicholas and Josephine Kovacic Memorial Scholarship at the GCCTC’s recognition ceremony May 20. The scholarship was established by the Kovacics to assist deserving young people at the Greene County Career and Technology Center. The Kovacic’s son, Nick Kovacic, left, presented the award.
