Treasa McElroy, center, a Central Greene High School student enrolled in the cosmetology program, was awarded the Nina Doman Scholarship at the GCCTC’s recognition ceremony May 20. The scholarship was established by Nina Doman’s parents, Bob and Patty Doman, pictured with McElroy, to assist cosmetology students establishing a career in the cosmetology industry.

Michael Depaoli, right, a Central Greene High School student enrolled in the computer networking technology program, was awarded the Nicholas and Josephine Kovacic Memorial Scholarship at the GCCTC’s recognition ceremony May 20. The scholarship was established by the Kovacics to assist deserving young people at the Greene County Career and Technology Center. The Kovacic’s son, Nick Kovacic, left, presented the award.

The Challenge Program distributed financial awards to several seniors at the Greene County Career and Technology Center for excelling in multiple areas. The winners include, from left, Michaela Milliken, Harry Inghram and Trystan Weir. Not pictured are Austin Kiger and Cameron Henry.
