Interstate 79 survey work planned

Survey activities on Interstate 79 in Allegheny and Washington counties will occur today and continue next week, weather permitting, the state Department of Transportation announced.

Single-lane restrictions will occur as needed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on I-79 at the following locations:

• I-79 over Cecil Henderson Road in Washington County on Friday, Monday and Tuesday.

• I-79 over Morgan Road in Washington County on Wednesday and Thursday.

• I-79 over Alpine Road in Allegheny County on June 5.
