PennDOT maintenance schedule for week of June 1
The state Department of Transportation issued the following tentative work plan for Greene County starting Monday.
Maintenance activities are conducted weather permitting. Jerry Simkovic, Greene County maintenance manager, urged motorists to drive with caution throughout all work areas.
• Erosion protection on state Route 2018 in Whiteley Township and bridge repairs on state Route 3006 in Gilmore Township.
• Bridge flushing will be conducted on various roads throughout county.
• Pavement patching on Route 21 from the West Virginia line to Route 18 at the Washington County line. Also patching on Route 19 in Franklin Township south of Waynesburg, Route 218 in Wayne and Franklin townships, and various routes in Carmichaels, Clarksville and the Jefferson areas.
• Slide and washout repairs on Bristoria Road in Jackson and Center townships, and Whitethorn Run Road in Richhill Township.
• State roads will be reviewed and signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced and concerns addressed on various state roads throughout the county.
