Police beat
Crash: Ryan L. Ward, 19, of Prosperity, was injured when he crashed his motorcycle into a fence on S. Bridge Road Friday shortly after 9 p.m., police said. Ward sustained an injury and was taken from the scene by EMS to Wheeling Medical Center.
Collision: A vehicle driven by Jessica Koscho, 26, of Washington, was traveling east on North Hewitt Avenue about 1:20 p.m. Saturday when she drifted into the westbound lane and hit the side fender of a car being driven by Kenneth Fuchs, 41, also of Washington, police said. Both vehicles suffered damage and Fuchs sustained a moderate injury, according to police.
Harassment: James Raymon Sickles IV, 20, of Eighty Four, is accused of pushing Alexis Chantal Sherman, 23, also of Eighty Four, during an argument Friday about 11 p.m., police said. Charges of harassment were filed against Sickles and Sherman.
Collision: A water truck being driven by Richard Conrad, 41, of Punxsutawney, was traveling south on state Route 88 about 5:22 p.m. Friday when it entered a sharp right curve and flipped on its side into the northbound lane, according to police. The tank disengaged from the truck body as it was falling to the ground, and the tank was struck on the top rear hatch by a vehicle driven by Melissa Rohland, 36, of Brownsville. Rohland’s vehicle then slid counterclockwise and hit a nearby garage. Rohland sustained a moderate injury and was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital. Conrad was charged with driving at an unsafe speed, police said.
