Center Township fire hall in Rogersville will serve food today from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for Election Day with carryout available. The breakfast menu will include sausage gravy and a biscuit. The lunch menu will be hot dogs, sloppy joes, ham BBQ sandwiches, cabbage and noodles, bean soup and cornbread, along with desserts and drinks. The dinner menu will be from 4 to 7 p.m. and includes creamed chicken and biscuit, mashed potatoes, peas, applesauce, with dessert and drinks. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.
Waynesburg Prosperous and Beautiful Downtown Dialogue event changed its date to Friday, Nov. 6, due to a conflict. The event will be at Waynesburg University’s Stover Center Conference Room 303 from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Local businesses are invited to help organize upcoming events like Small Business Saturday and the Holiday Open House. The monthly meeting of the Auxiliary Board of Directors for WHS-Greene hospital will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 1:30 p.m. in the fourth floor conference room of the hospital.
Jefferson United Methodist Church will hold a baked steak dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, in Jefferson Community Center. The menu will include baked steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, candied carrots, homemade applesauce, pickled beets, rolls, desserts and beverages. The cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Take-out orders are available.
