Fire damages Washington house
A state police fire marshal was summoned to investigate the cause of a fire Tuesday that damaged a Washington house.
The 12:30 p.m. fire at 62 Hallam Ave. began in a second-floor bedroom.
The residents were not home at the time, Washington fire Chief Linn Brookman said.
No one was injured in the fire, which was quickly extinguished by city firefighters.
The frame house is owned by Jim Crunick, who said the damages can be repaired.
