An accident on Garards Fort Road in Greene Township involving a tractor-trailer and SUV left an elderly woman with minor injuries Tuesday afternoon. State police said the woman drove her SUV through a stop sign at Kirby and Garards Fort roads about 1:45 p.m. and struck the right side of the rig. The woman, who was not immediately identified, was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries, state police said. A passenger in the woman’s car was not injured. The driver of the truck was also uninjured.
