Assault, threats charges: Jeremy M. Lee, 28, of 1004 Old Washington Road, McMurray, was charged Tuesday by state police with terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment for allegedly pointing a gun at Charles Bronson Jenkins and Tracy Lynn Jenkins during an Aug. 11 incident at 1 Mark Ave., Canton.

One injured: A 3-year-old girl was slightly injured in a four-vehicle, chain-reaction crash about 7:30 a.m. Monday on Washington Road (Route 19) north at Smith Place, North Strabane police said. The drivers are identified as Olive Jean Orndoff, 21, of South Strabane Township; Stephanie Renee Roberts, 27, of Belle Vernon; Nathaniel Ellis of Adams Center, N.Y., and Jed D. Sullivan, 37, of Carmichaels. Ellis told police he was going to take his 3-year-old daughter to Canonsburg Hospital.

Drug arrest: Shane Trylko, 27, who has no known address, was arrested Tuesday by Peters police on a warrant on drug charges after he allegedly sold 46 stamp bags of heroin to an informant in the parking lot of a Washington Road business on Oct. 28. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of paraphernalia and criminal use of a communications facility. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Coin box stolen: A coin box was pried from a bay Oct. 29 at Brown’s Car Wash, 1637 Smith Township Road, Atlasburg, Smith police said. A smaller red pickup truck is seen on surveillance video pulling into the lot. A white man wearing a white ball cap and orange, hooded shirt is seen prying off the coin box. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-947-5069.

Vehicles entered: Several residents of the Erie Mine area of Smith told township police that their unlocked vehicles were entered late Monday or early Tuesday. Coins and small amounts of cash were stolen from the vehicles. Police remind residents to keep vehicles locked. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-947-5069.

Stolen car recovered: South Strabane police said five men bailed out and abandoned a gold 2000 Buick Park Avenue on the ramp from Route 19 to Washington Mall on Monday. The car had been stolen in Amwell Township and reported to state police.
