Houston man faces sex charges
A Houston man is accused of performing sex acts on a woman against her will in her Strabane home.
According to the criminal complaint, Randall G. Ray, 38, of 257 1/2 Cherry Ave., Houston, entered the home Wednesday evening without permission. After talking with the woman for about 45 minutes, he allegedly pushed her into her bedroom and shut the door.
The woman told North Strabane Township police Ray threw her on the bed and performed sex acts on her while she told him no. She said she tried to call 911, but Ray stepped on the phone to prevent her from calling. The women’s two children were home at the time, police said.
The woman eventually got to her phone and called 911. She said Ray left.
The woman had a protection-from-abuse order against Ray she canceled about two weeks ago. She also filed a complaint earlier in the week against Ray, alleging he broke a window and entered her home.
Ray was taken into custody Wednesday night on an outstanding domestic relations warrant and was charged with aggravated indecent assault without consent, two counts of criminal trespass and unlawful restraint. He was placed in Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 19.
