Harassment charge: Cory M. Apicella, 26, of Washington, will be charged by California police with harassment after he allegedly got into a physical confrontation with another person Wednesday night at 130 Third St.

Husband arrested: Jason Markle, 28, of 1166 N. Main St., Washington, was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly assaulted his estranged wife, Samantha Markle, in her home at 400 Highfield Ave. She told police she took his keys because he was too intoxicated to drive. He allegedly grabbed her by the neck and threw her down. She went to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and released from Washington County jail after posting $5,000 bond.

DUI arrest: Darren D’Angelo, 46, of 18 W. College St., Canonsburg, will be charged by Canonsburg police with driving under the influence of alcohol after he allegedly sideswiped a parked vehicle while attempting to parallel park his own vehicle in the 200 block of North Central Avenue about 2:30 a.m. Thursday. Police said his blood-alcohol content was almost 3 1/2 times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed.

Theft arrest: Robert Anthony Levandosky Jr., 24, of 14 Dairy Road, Charleroi, was arrested Wednesday by Monongahela police on a charge of theft after he allegedly stole a tip jar containing $80 from Italian Village Pizza, 169 W. Main St., on Nov. 5. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Charged in disturbance: Michael Grimes, 56, of 432 Monongahela Ave., North Charleroi, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Charleroi Regional police on charges of resisting arrest, flight to avoid apprehension, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, false identification to police and possession of paraphernalia after allegedly creating a disturbance at his home. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond. Police said he also is wanted on warrants in Westmoreland County.

Two-vehicle crash: Margaret Magilison, 59, of Bridgeville, refused treatment after her vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Michael Lackner, 46, of 1128 Vista Hill, North Strabane, when he made a left turn into her path about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Morganza and McClelland roads, North Strabane police said.

Two face charges: Gino M. Jerrome, 29, and Mary Dunn, 30, both of Bridgeport, Ohio, were charged by South Strabane police with retail theft, conspiracy, receiving stolen property and theft by deception after they allegedly stole household items and children’s toys on Tuesday from Walmart, Trinity Point. Police said the couple had an infant with them during the theft. Jerrome was arraigned on the charges before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond. Dunn will be charged by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Charged in crash: Mark E. Hendricks, 28, of Oregon, Ill., was arrested Tuesday by state police on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic violations stemming from a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 northbound at the ramp from Interstate 70 westbound, South Strabane. Police said Hendricks refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Theft reported: Kenneth Buerer of 19 Clearview Lane, Union, told Southwest Regional police Nov. 1 that a metal-bending machine was stolen from his property.

Woman shot at: Stacey Fields, 44, of Washington, told Washington police a dark gray van pulled next to her as she walked home about 1:30 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of North Franklin and West Walnut streets. An occupant used a BB gun with a laser sight to fire shots at her, but she was not struck, police said.

Items stolen: Aimee Gordon of 254 Lincoln Terrace told Washington police Wednesday an air mattress, cellphone charger and compact disc case were stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

Windshield damaged: Christine Cecconello of 69 W. Katherine Ave. told Washington police Wednesday the windshield of her vehicle was damaged with a decorative brick.

Theft arrest: Tamara M. Catlin, 25, of Homestead, was arrested Wednesday by state police on a charge of felony retail theft after she allegedly stole $300 in clothing and other items from Walmart, West Brownsville. She was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.
