Harveys-Aleppo Grange is welcoming veterans and their families to Veterans Appreciation Night at 7 p.m. Monday at the grange hall on Route 21 near Graysville. Certificates and commemorative pins will be presented, and those who attend are encouraged to bring mementos, photographs and stories to share. Refreshments will be served. This night of honor is dedicated to past grange masters who served in the military. The grange draped its charter at its Nov. 9 meeting in memory of recently deceased Past Master Reed Jones, who was a World War II veteran. Produce to the People, a monthly food distribution for income-eligible households, will be a week early this month due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The program will be Thursday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Greene County Fairgrounds. If people do not have a passcard, they should bring a current driver’s license, utility bill or lease with their name and address to receive one. Participants are asked to bring a box, cart or wagon to carry out food.
