East Franklin Grange honored several veterans during the group’s dinner meeting Thursday. They are, from left, Claude Barnes, Robert Born, John Kobuchi, Joe Weaver, Ron Hampson, Warren Headlee and Earl Whipkey. The grange also gave a $500 donation to Scott Roberts of the 2 Sam 9 organization that will be used for community service for children who attend that group. The next grange function is a trip to the Winter Festival of Lights at Oglebay in Wheeling, W.Va., on Nov. 28. Cost of the trip is $30 and the bus leaves from the grange at 4:30 p.m.
