Pittsburgh man charged with disrobing in California police holding cell
CALIFORNIA – A Pittsburgh man is in custody on charges he disrobed several times in a holding cell while making lewd comments to a California Borough police officer who had arrested him Monday in a criminal mischief case.
Police officer Garret A. Kurilko accused Jon Golden, 29, 313 McClellan Drive, of stripping his clothing, saying, “kiss me” and making references to a sex act while being held at the borough police station, court records show.
Kurilko apprehended Golden about 9:15 p.m. on Second Street as a suspect in a complaint regarding a brick that had been tossed through a Sigma Tau fraternity house window, landing on a bed, police stated in the affidavit supporting the criminal charges in the case.
A Cal U. fraternity brother who witnessed Golden place the brick on the porch of the house at 545 Second St. told a Washington County 911 dispatcher he was following the suspect, who was walking toward Wood Street, after hearing the crash of the window breaking, the record states.
Kurilko said he saw a man matching the description of the suspect walking and talking on his cellphone on Second Street, where he then placed handcuffs on Golden and took him to the police station.
Golden denied throwing the brick through the window, and said two members of the fraternity had earlier punched him in the head. Police said there were no visible signs that Golden had been assaulted.
Golden is charged with reckless endangerment, indecent exposure, possession of paraphernalia, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
He is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
