Police said Sara Marie Wright, 23, of 500 Parkview Knoll, Carmichaels, took the 10-inch knife and stabbed Ronnie Vuono in the arm, leaving a small puncture wound, during an argument in her home shortly after noon. Wright was charged with simple assault with a deadly weapon, harassment and disorderly conduct. She was taken to the Greene County jail on $5,000 bond. Vuono declined treatment at the scene.

Man charged in crash at boat club: Cumberland police accused a Greensboro man of driving through the Rices Landing Boat Club gate and crashing into a boat. Police said Joshua J. Maraney, 25, of 131A Alicia Main St., Greensboro, was found sleeping in his car, laying facedown with the driver’s seat reclined, after hitting a pile of wood and a boat Sept. 19. The crash caused about $3,000 in damage at the boat club on Old Ferry Road, police said. Maraney was charged Tuesday with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, driving with a suspended license, unauthorized use of a vehicle, trespassing by vehicle and careless driving.

Identity theft: Curtis R. Jarrett, 36, of 433 Old Frame Road, Smithfield, was charged with theft by deception, receiving stolen property and identity theft after Cumberland police said he used another man’s name to sign sales invoices for motor oil at Fleet Pride in the Paisley Industrial Park. Police said Jarrett signed for the purchases Oct. 30 and Nov. 2 even though another person purchased the product and later sold it under the other man’s name.

Couple charged: Edward C. Schrader, 44, and Lisa M. Hughes, 35, both of 311 Parkview Knoll, Carmichaels, were charged Wednesday by Cumberland Township police with the June 11 theft of seven aluminum wheels from West End Garage on Route 88. Tapes from a security camera showed Schrader entering a fenced area at the garage and stealing the wheels, police said. Hughes allegedly drove Schrader to and from the site. Two syringes and metal spoons were also found in the couple’s vehicle after their arrest, police said.
