The annual rummage sale and bake sale at First Christian Church of Carmichaels, 235 S. Market St., will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Mather Christian Church will have a gospel concert by Tom Shelton at 6 p.m. Sunday. Refreshments will be served in the social hall after the program. The public is invited. Please note the day of the concert was previously listed incorrectly.
The third annual Central Greene Scholarship Trust Trivia Contest will be held at the Waynesburg Central High School at 6 p.m. Oct. 10. Teams of four to eight players compete in 10 themed trivia rounds as a group, and the winning team receives $1,000 prize for a local charity. A turkey supper begins at 5 p.m. Oct. 17 at Valley Chapel Church, 139 Church Run Road, Spraggs.
The dinner includes mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, dressing, gravy, coleslaw, pumpkin pie and gingerbread. Cost is $12 for adults, $6 for children ages 7 to 12 and free for kids 6 and younger.
