Inbound Parkway West closure planned
The inbound Parkway West will be closed all weekend, weather permitting, the state Department of Transportation announced.
Crews from Swank Construction Co. will be doing paving, shoulder reconstruction and median-barrier work.
The Parkway West will close to inbound traffic starting at 9 p.m. Friday continuously through 6 a.m. Monday between the Green Tree/Mt. Lebanon interchange and the Fort Pitt Bridge, including the inbound Fort Pitt Tunnel.
The Parkway Center on-ramp to the inbound Parkway West will close to traffic at 9 p.m. Thursday continuously through Oct. 19 for reconstruction work.
