Disorderly conduct charge: Savon L. Salter, 21, of 109 Martinique Drive, Pittsburgh, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct Wednesday after he allegedly harassed a tow truck driver for towing his vehicle from 999 Green St., California, borough police said. Salter was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis. He was released from jail on $2,500 bond.

Criminal attempt charge: Tiffany N. Courtley, 34, of 1109 Crest Ave., Charleroi, was charged with criminal attempt and public drunkenness Wednesday after police said she attempted to enter a home at 1108 Crest Ave. Police said Courtley smelled like alcohol when she was arrested. Courtley was arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins. She remains in jail on $5,000 bond.

Burglary: A computer tower and printer were taken in a burglary reported Wednesday at Howard Hanna, 3912 Washington Road, Peters Township, police said. The incident remains under investigation.

Drug charges: John Rigby III, 37, of 1003 Maiden St., Beallsville, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia after police allegedly found the items during a search of his backpack Sept. 26. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Threat charge: Mason Doyle Smith, 24, of 515 W. Chestnut St., Washington, was charged with terroristic threats and harassment after city police said he threatened to kill a woman Sept. 17. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Simple assault charge: Anthony A. Kerp, 45, of 705 N. Franklin St., Washington, was charged with simple assault after his girlfriend told police he punched and kicked her Aug. 8. Smith was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and committed to the county jail on $5,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 21.
