Police beat Oct. 5
DUI, weapons charges: Nathan Joseph Dale Sapp, 22, of Isabella, Fayette County, was charged by state police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, carrying a firearm without a license and traffic violations stemming from a Sept. 23 traffic stop on Route 21 near Greene County Fairgrounds, Franklin. He was arraigned before District Judge Lee Watson and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.
Motorcycle stolen: A 50-year-old Franklin man told state police Saturday a 1987 Harley-Davidson with a blue gas tank and missing a seat was stolen from a garage on Rudolph Run Road, Franklin. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call state police in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
Harassment charge: Daniel Wayne Ealy Jr., 30, of Waynesburg, was charged with harassment by state police after he allegedly slapped Danielle Marie Cumberledge, 21, of Waynesburg, and threw a beer car, hitting her in the face, during a confrontation Thursday night at 124 Wayne Village, Franklin.
Mailbox stolen: Esther Elaine Robison of Green Grove Road, Morgan, told state police Thursday her mailbox was stolen and its post was damaged.
