Theft: Krista B. Aberegg, 23, of 300 Windy Gap Road, Aleppo, was charged with theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and other charges after she allegedly stole a bottle of Klonopin pills belonging to Ian Nakonechni and used her mother’s car without her mother’s permission Sept. 17, state police said. Aberegg drove to her grandmother’s house, police said, where she allegedly stole an ATM card and $100.

Animal cruelty: Ian J. Nakonechni, 28, of 383 Falling Timber Road, Holbrook, was charged with animal cruelty for allegedly stabbing a Boston terrier owned by Krista Aberegg on Sept. 17 at 300 Windy Gap Road. Police said Nakonechni stabbed the dog after being told Aberegg stole his medication.
