Blacksville convenience store robbed

The Monongalia County (W.Va.) Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery early Tuesday at the 7-Eleven Store on Route 7 in Blacksville, W.Va.

A man walked into the store about 3:20 a.m., pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, according to the sheriff’s office. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was described as a white male, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 140 pounds. He was wearing a ski mask and tan and gray clothing.
