Woman taken to area hospital
A woman was flown by helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital Wednesday evening after suffering a medical issue at Peters Township High School pool, a 911 supervisor said.
The woman was in her 60s, and her condition is unknown. The incident occurred about 5:15 p.m. The district’s swim team was practicing when the incident occurred. The practice was canceled as a result.
