Throckmorton United Methodist Church will hold a free community dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today. The menu will include hot roast beef sandwiches, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, applesauce, dessert and beverage. Take outs are available. Donations are appreciated.
Greene County Conservation District will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Greene County Office Building, 93 E. High St., Waynesburg.
Greene County Redevelopment Authority has free brick available at a house it will eventually demolish at the corner of Lincoln and Washington streets, Waynesburg. Anyone who wants brick can pick them up at the house from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
A financial aid night for parents seeking information on financial aid for their children’s post-secondary education will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at Greene County Career and Technology Center. Jayeann Harr, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency access partner, will provide information about applying and searching for financial aid for students.

Morris Township will hold trick-or-treat from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31. Those who wish to participate are asked to put a porch light on.
