Central Greene School District’s winter sport physicals will be held at Waynesburg Central High School gym Saturday, by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 724-852-1050 ext. 226.
Country music sill be featured at New Freeport fire hall from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Performing will be Slim Lehart (7 to 9 p.m.) and Mark Poe (9 to 10 p.m.). Admission is $4. The event is present by the fire department’s ladies auxiliary.
Community Sewing Circle of Time will meet Friday for an all-day meeting in the social room of the Union Valley United Methodist church. Rheita Danley will be hostess and program leader. Word for roll call is grace.
