Langeloth family involved in accident

All four members of a family involved in a one-car accident Tuesday night on Route 50 near Route 519 in Mt. Pleasant Township were taken to Pittsburgh hospitals.

According to Mt. Pleasant Township police, driver Michael Kosharsky Jr., 33, of Langeloth; his wife, passenger Nicole, 34, their 11-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son were traveling east on Route 50 around 8 p.m. when their car crossed the center line and struck a utility pole.

Both children were taken by medical helicopter to Children’s Hospital of UPMC of Pittsburgh.

Nicole Kosharsky was taken by medical helicopter and Michael Kosharsky Jr. was taken by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Their conditions were not immediately known.

Traffic was closed on both roads until 9:15 p.m. The accident is under investigation.
