PENN HILLS (AP) – Police have charged an 18-year-old student with attacking a Pennsylvania high school security guard while another student recorded the incident on his phone and posted it to Facebook.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for Eddie Thrash, the Penn Hills High School student. He faces a preliminary hearing Oct. 26 on charges of aggravated assault and harassment.

KDKA-TV reports the incident took place Oct. 14 after the guard told Thrash to get out of a hallway and return to class. Police say Thrash argued with the guard before lifting up the guard and slamming him to the floor, where Thrash allegedly punched the guard seven or eight times in the face.

The district declined comment on the incident.
