Man sentenced for DUI charge
WAYNESBURG – A Carmichaels man convicted by a Greene County jury of driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance was sentenced Friday.
Wayne Everett Mayo, 45, of 407 W. George St., was arrested March 16, 2011 after he was found asleep at the wheel of his vehicle parked in a driveway on Carmichaels Street. He was sentenced to time served, 61 days, to 1 year in jail and fined $950. He also received a one-year license suspension.
