Fire at visitor center near Philadelphia’s LOVE sculpture
PHILADELPHIA (AP) – No one was injured in a fire that broke out at a visitor center near Philadelphia’s famed LOVE sculpture.
Firefighters say smoke from a fire in a basement ventilation unit filled the Fairmount Park Welcome Center around 3 a.m. Tuesday.
It was under control within 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
Officials are assessing damage and trying to determine what started the blaze.
The visitor center encourages people to explore Love Park and other city attractions.
