CHARLEROI – A Monessen man is wanted on allegations he was trafficking heroin in Charleroi this month.

District Judge Larry Hopkins signed an arrest warrant Tuesday for Laurenti J. Robertson, 25, on charges he possessed more than three bricks of the drug during an Oct. 19 traffic stop in the 1,000 block of Fallowfield Avenue, court records show.

Robertson, of 8 Merando Drive, was released following the 5 p.m. traffic stop by Charleroi Regional police on allegations he was driving a vehicle without inspection stickers, police stated in the affidavit.

Police said $1,350 was seized from Robertson after the money was found in one of his pants pockets tucked inside a purple Crown Royal cloth bag.

The bag also contained 10 stamp bags of heroin, police said.

Three bricks of heroin and one loose stamp bag of the drug were found in the trunk of his vehicle.

Robertson is wanted in the case on charges of drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
