Center for Coalfield Justice plans seminar
The Center for Coalfield Justice will hold a community-wide summit from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 12 at Washington & Jefferson College to discuss the issues surrounding fossil fuel extraction.
“Landscape Today: Community Impact Summit” will bring together community members, organizers and experts for panels and workshop discussions on coal mining, shale gas, watersheds and health effects. Lunch will be provided.
