Assault: A 24-year-old woman was assaulted by an unknown person in the Giant Eagle parking lot on Sugar Run Road at 10 p.m. Aug. 25, state police said.

Window cracked: The outer pane of glass was cracked Monday on a double-pane sliding door at the rear of 1084 Garards Fort Road, state police said.

Burglary: A house at 615 Mt. Morris Road was broken into between Aug. 20 and Aug. 22. It was not known if anything was stolen.

Burglary: Tools were stolen in a burglary between 5 p.m. Aug. 19 and 11 a.m. Aug. 20 at 217 Glover Hill Road, New Freeport, state police said. A padlock on the front door was broken to gain entrance to the residence.

Theft: Three prescription pill bottles were stolen from 126 Lee Ave., Spraggs, between 2:30 and 4:45 p.m. Aug. 25, state police said.
