Crew of carriers?
The Observer Publishing Co. held an annual newspaper carriers’ picnic for more than a century. And over the years, we’ve accumulated many photos from the events. Unfortunately, the identities of those in most of the photos were never recorded.
This week’s Mystery Photo is from the 73rd annual picnic, held June 27, 1980. We’re hoping some of our readers can tell us who these kids are and where the picnic was held.
By the way, we just celebrated International Newspaper Carrier Day Sept. 4.
