1 min read

Two teenage males suffered serious injuries late Monday night when their car crashed on Route 19 in Franklin Township.

The car was traveling southbound about a mile north of Waynesburg when it left the road, went over a hillside and crashed into a tree at 11:45 p.m., Waynesburg-Franklin fire Chief Jeff Marshall said.

The two occupants, whose identities were not immediately released, were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., with what Marshall described as serious injuries.

State police are investigating the crash.
